It's cold outside. Not painful, but not warm. Usually I hate this.
But tonight, groceries at hand, earphones plugged in, I got carried away in my own movie of half moon and clouded breath
Dropped the bag on the porch and took off running to the park
Stood in the toddler swings and stretched way back so the world was upside down and dipping

Disturbed the leaves skipping back, throwing them in the air like conffetti

And swerved up and down the middle line of the street, tripping over my own feet
Maybe it was being stuck inside all day thinking
Or the Irish jam session I just attended
Making signs for my friend Rachel as she played fiddle
YOU'RE GREAT!
Or drawing the necks of the instruments with my crayons
But world was meant for celebration tonight
